She studied animation in college and is now an established picture book author. In 2009, she won the Grand Prize at the World Great Illustrators Exhibition, and in 2012, her book Grimi’s White Canvas received the Opera Prima award at the Bologna Ragazzi Award. Books she has both written and illustrated include Like a Tree and The Second Home.
I Found It! A Little Cloud Drop, the Grand Prize winner in the Picture Book category at the 31st Eye Level Literary Awards, was inspired by raindrops falling on a balcony railing one day. Thinking of her young niece who loves playing hide-and-seek, she created this picture book about a Mother Cloud and her baby cloud droplets playing a game of hide-and-seek.
