Ian’s Extraordinary Adventure

Park Bo-young enjoys pastries, poetry, and drawing. She studied Korean Language and Literature in college and worked at a publishing house creating books across various fields. After discovering the world of picture books, she fell in love with the medium and now works as both a picture book editor and author. While writing Ian's Extraordinary Adventure, she began to dream of traveling the world, just like Ian and Uncle Henri.

Shin A-mi was born in Korea and studied illustration at the Cambridge School of Art in the UK. She won the Children's Book category at the 2016 World Illustration Awards and has been selected as Illustrator of the Year at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in 2020, 2023, and 2026.
Her book Ian's Imaginary House received the Excellence Award in the Picture Book category at the 29th Eye Level Children's Literature Award, as well as an Excellence Award at the 2023 International Creative Media Awards. It was also selected for the 2023 Bologna BRAW Amazing Bookshelf and the 2023 Bookstart Recommended Books for Elementary School list.
Illustrator Shin A-mi is an artist who first published her work and gained recognition in the UK before becoming known in Korea. Her book Find Stanley the Mouse! won the children’s book category at the World Illustration Awards (WIA). Her other works include Mice in the City: London and Mice in the City: New York.
